HI Murali,
Do you got any solution for this.We observer same issue after EHP6 upgrade.
Hi all,
After running the SVT report several times, we noticed that the Production Orders under TECO (Technically Completed) status do not delete form the SVT report.
I went thru different SAP Notes and learned that "Planned quantities are no longer tracked or deleted when the order status is either TECO, CLSD or DLT. It happens that every time we run the SVT report, the TECO orders are always there.
Is there something wrong in my SVT configuration, please? Is there a way to discriminate the different PP order statuses under SVT?
Many thanks for your help.
Best Regards,
Mariano Saez

Dear Suresh
We cannot create Diagnose codes , Diagnose codes standard codes which are defined in ICD (International Classification of Diseases).
We have to import the Standard Diagnose Catalog(Ex:- ICD 10) in ASCII format. We have to purchase this catalogs in ASCII format .Pl.Refer below web site where ICD Catalogs are available in ASCII format.
http://www.eicd.com/ProductsNew.htm
Example for ICD (International Classification of Diseases)
Here "Intestinal infectious diseases " is the Diagnose group
" A00 - is the Diagnose code which represent the Disease " Cholera"
The ASCII format which we have to import should be in below format
Position in Character String | Type | Length | Content |
1-8 | Char | 8 | Reference code (user-defined) |
9-14 | Char | 6 | Diagnosis code |
15 | Char | 1 | Diagnosis key type |
16 | Char | 1 | Language |
17 | Char | 1 | Diagnosis group |
18 | Char | 1 | Diagnosis priority |
19-738 | Char | 720 | Diagnosis description |
739-750 | Char | 12 | User name |
751-760 | Char | 10 | Date changed |
Once you import the "Diagnose catalog" in to your system. Do below configurations in SPRO which was already done by you
Enter Catalog--to be created through SPRO(Environment, Health and Safety--Occupational Health--Basic Data--Diagnosis Keys--Specify Diagnosis Catalogs)
Enter the Tcode is " EHSDIAGSL"
Select the destination of Source file "Diagnose catalogue" which was imported

I'm going in CG02 to search specification. Entering specification number and going menu path Specification --> Report --> Report template.
Selecting variant from drop down and clicking on display button.
So system display specification in word format. Now I want to save this specification, so I click on 'save as' button on word but getting error message "saving has been disabled" and does not allow to save.
Could you suggest something? Let me know if you need more info to resolve this.
Dear Eric
you are just previewing the report buy not generated , If iam not wrong, it is not possible to save the report until unless it is generated , once it is generated , you can output the report through report shipping option.
Pl .refer below thread where CB & Kamal is explained clearly

I'm not expert in CG02. Could you please suggest steps to generate new report? So I can save same?
Dear Eric
I believe you miss the "process idea". We have two processes integrated in CG02
a.) Report from Template
b.) Create Report
Regarding a.): here you generate "on the fly" a document on you client to "view" data. The result is not used for other processes: So you can think about that this process is a type of "quality check" of data maintained. If needed you could adapt the local WWi.INI to save the generated document; but this is not recommended
b.) Create report: here you generate a "report" in such a way that it is stored in database. The result can be checked in e.g. trasnaction CG50 and if report is released in transaction CG54. Once again the result is normally not "saved" locally to the client; but stay in data base to be used very often (e.g. in report dispatching process)
So please explain: why do you have the felling that you need to save the document locally?
C.B.
Dear Mariano
a.) SVT questions are comiing up rarely in this FORUM
b.) I did not really catch your topic. I try the other way around:
1.) in SVT process we have two main "status" to consider. An "open" order or a "closed" order (TECO). Now we have two "subprocesses" here in SVT. The "planning" part and the "consumed" part. Regarding the planning part you will find normally in transaction CBRC20 the corresponing order number. Any material movement will the be reflected in the calculated result. If this is the case "amounts" will be aapted and the "consumed" part will increase. If the order is "closed" you can not "update" it by using material movement. Therefore normally the "planned" part should not show up any more in CBRC20
2.) please check your customizing (seleciotn criteria of SVT run). There might by some missing entry
C.B.
Dear John
in most cases companies "buy" rules from third party and avoid to "learn" the use of the expert tool. The topic is discussed rarely here indicating that most of the companies "buy" the rules.
Coming back to the topic Ralph: The overall process is like this:
a.) you read some data
b.) you use a "rule" to derive new data
c.) you store the new data in database
On high level the same can be achieved in SAP (ABAP). If i remember correct: until SAP ERP Enterprise 4.7 Ext 2.0 SAP delivered a "secondary data determination" rule set implemented as ABAP code. This is "ruleset" is not supported any more by SAP but the approach used is "exactly" like I have explained.
The "critical" aspect is not the reading or writing something; the "know how" is the "rule".
I am sorry to say that I can only confirm your findings: the explenations regarding Expert server are not good and therefore it is quite difficult to implement own rules. The best approach is to buy something; analyse it and then try to learn how to implemmet something buy your own.

Dear Rubena
may be execute Su53. May be an access problem. I assume some local issues with proper WWI installation might be the reason as well.
C.B.
Thanks for the info. Yeah, normally we buy rules from SAP or other third party vendors, such as ghs rules and so on. I am just seeking some simple rules, like copy data from one VAT to another to save the history/log or some with simple logic. Will try to take what we have in hand for those information and do some testing on rule editing.
Just some additional info on the wwi.ini.
Normally it's located here by default, C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\sapgui\wwi
And there is a part for protection, and "EnableSave" is read for this. But really according to Christoph, it's not recommended to change it.
[Protection]
; configurable protection and attached Word template (dot) for
; "display report", "edit report", "report from template" and
; "label preview".
;
; Possible values for protection:
; 0 = allow edit (no protection)
; 1 = allow only comments (default, does not update page counts properly)
; 2 = allow form fields (does not allow "edit"-"find" and scrolling by PgUp, PgDown)
; 3 = allow only revisions
;
; The Report...Dot entries define which Word template is getting attached.
; The default is wwidispl.dot
; "none" defines that no template gets attached
;
; The Report...Macro entries optionally defines a macro in this template to be started
; before the document is getting protected
;
; The Report...UsePassword entries optionally define to set a password to disable protection
ReportDisplayProtection=2
ReportDisplayDot=wwidispl

Hi Christoph,
Thanks for your feedback.
The main problem we face is that the SVT report shows up the TECO orders despite , as you also pointed out, they are closed.
I do not understand what you meant to say by "missing entries" in the config. As far as I know, there is no way to customize the difference between the different process order statuses, am I wrong?
Thanks for your help
Thanks Edwards for your helpful information. But what I want is to get info from EC via RFC or webservice call in ABAP coding, then represent in my application as dropdown list or table list for user select, I know there are many webservice or RFC available in EC, but just can't get real helpful doc ...
Regards
YS
Dear Yonglian
EC is not discussed often here. There are online two online helps available
Check: http://help.sap.com/ec30#section5
Here you will find some "high level" refernce of use of RFC. Some high level help regarding web services is shonw there as well-
Anything else you might be able to find in SAP marketplace.
C.B.
Dear Mariono
please check SVT OSS consulting note (there is one importnat one) whcih explain the "configuration customzing table. "the same is mentioned shortly in online help:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_07/helpdata/en/46/1119f1090d5a68e10000000a1553f7/content.htm?frameset=/en/a7/288aa30a6c11d28a220000e829fbbd/frameset.htm (chapter Scenarios and Tables for Substance Volume Tracking)
I am pretty sure that by correct customizing you can remove the nerties to be displayed.
C.B.
Dear John
there is the "Easy Expert" available as well. But this is used more rarely as the Expert server rules, as the rules muts be much simpler.
What you would try to get is something there i would not use the term "rule" but on high level it is a rule clearly. You have this option: prepare your owen "secondary determination "program" " to do the job. Do it in ABAP. Secondary data determination and "output variant" is on the "same" level. First you read some data. Secondary data determination is the related to "create" new data (as in your example) and output variants are used only to show the data on the screen.
As with many rules: the "copy" one is tricky (therefore many people have some problem in using e.G. Content Provider data; here you have a "similar" process. Here you import (insert but update and delete as well) data. Regarindg your topic. it depends what you would like tot achieve.
E.g. you have a data record fomr property X; now you copy that to the same "VAT" (using only different usage) or you generate a new property Y with the sam structure as X and copy th data viy Scondara determination" option. The only topic you need to think about: how should the update be done in Y (if there is the need to do so), as you always need to consider thre options.
- insert new data
- use some VAT but update that
- delete the VAT
What should now happen in case of "deletion" ? Do you would like still to "copy"?

Dear all,
I am just trying to custome the waste management ( EHS-WA ) and I am very surprised that the tables of the functions and document types are initially empty.
Which functions should be there?
a) goods in
b) create p.o.
c) post
d) print ..
Entries can be made with the function modules from function group EHS141, I suppose.
and:
document types?
.....
Any suggestions furthermore?
thanks in advance
Bernhard Scholz
